CORTLAND, N.Y.- The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) men's and women's cross country championships will be hosted by Geneseo at Letchworth State Park, Saturday, October 29. Top runners from all 10 member institutions will compete starting with the women's 6K race at 11 a.m. followed by the men's 8K race at noon.
The SUNYAC cross country championships have been dominated by Geneseo with the Knights winning 15 of the last 16 women's team championships and 12 of the last 16 men's team championships. Most recently, in 2015, Geneseo took both men's and women's team and individual titles as Isaac Garcia-Cassani (25:00.7) and Sara Rosenzweig (21:48.6) crossed the finish line first in the men's and women's races repectively.
