CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) men's and women's cross country championships will be hosted by Potsdam on Saturday, October 28 at Norwood-Norfolk Central School in Norwood, N.Y.
The top male runners from across the conference will be competing in the 8K championship race at 11 a.m. while the SUNYAC's top female runners will face off in the 6K championship race at 12:15 p.m.
Geneseo has dominated cross country in the SUNYAC over the last decade as the men's team won seven while the women claimed nine SUNYAC cross country team championships. For the past two years Geneseo runners, Isaac Garcia-Cassani (25:54.1) and Sara Rosenzweig (21:46.6), took both men's and women's individual titles.
