CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has selected its latest Baseball Athlete and Pitcher of the Week awards, both of whom are Cortland Red Dragons. This week's winners are pitcher Mike Harrington and shortstop Dan Schweitzer. 

Harrington tossed a four-hit shutout with three walks and four strikeouts over seven innings in Cortland's 1-0 win at Oswego Friday. The victory clinched the SUNYAC regular-season title for the Red Dragons. Harrington improved to 8-0 on the season, including a 6-0 mark and 0.97 ERA in league games.

Schweitzer went 5-for-9 (.556) with three RBI in a doubleheader sweep at Oswego that clinched the SUNYAC regular-season title for Cortland. He drove in the winning runs in both games. He hit a two-run single in the top of the 10th in an 8-6 win over the Lakers in Game 1, and his RBI single in the top of the sixth in the seven-inning second game brought home the only run in a 1-0 victory. Schweitzer also handled six fielding chances without an error at shortstop.

Cortland will host Brockport on May 3rd at noon to begin their SUNYAC tournament campaign.
