Swimming and Diving Championships - Day 3

RESULTS

BUFFALO, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) men's and women's swimming and diving championships finished its third day of competition, Friday at the Burt Flickinger Aquatic Center in Buffalo.

Geneseo men's team holds on to their lead with 624 points. Oswego sits at second and Cortland is third. Geneseo women continue their lead (770) while Cortland is currently second and Oswego is third.


Record Breakers

Geneseo women's team of Sydney Ng, Noelle Staso, Celeste Pace and Deidra Osula broke the meet record in the 200 medley relay finishing in a time of 1:45.94.

Geneseo's Deidra Osula set a new meet record at :56.95 in the 100 butterfly.

Kaz Sampson from Geneseo finished the 100 breaststroke in :56.25 to break the meet and conference records. 

Samantha Reichman topped the 1-meter dive meet record with a final score of 497.55 for the Knights.


The championship meet's final day of competition will be Saturday with prelims at 10 a.m. and finals at 5:30 p.m.
