Brockport, Fredonia and New Paltz Help SUNYAC Participate in Day 1 of National Mental Health Campaign

CORTLAND, N.Y. - The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) is excited to participate in the inaugural NCAA Division III Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) mental health social media campaign this week with May being Mental Health Awareness month.

This campaign serves as a platform for student-athletes, administrators, coaches, staff, and support networks across the country to start the discussion, speak out on, and break the stigma surrounding mental health. The goal of this campaign is to use social media to create a dialogue and communicate the benefits of normalizing mental health.

Throughout the week, athletes from across the SUNYAC will help the conference participate in the campaign on social media. Today teams from Brockport, Fredonia, and New Paltz share what they are doing during COVID-19 to stay active and healthy.
