PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State men's ice hockey team will be holding a "pass the hat" Thanksgiving fundraiser during Saturday night's game between Plattsburgh State and Potsdam.
Members of the Plattsburgh State men's ice hockey team will go around collecting donations in a hat during the beginning of the second period. All proceeds will be going to a local food bank in the greater Plattsburgh area to help fund a Thanksgiving dinner for those that are less fortunate.
The North Country rivalry is scheduled for a 7 p.m. puck drop as both the Cardinals and Bears enter undefeated and ranked in the latest USCHO.com poll
