SUNYAC Mission/Vision Statement

Mission- The SUNYAC is committed to:
-the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III philosophy.

-developing exemplary student-athletes who strive for success in the classroom and in the competitive arena, as well as in all aspects of life.

-maintaining competitive excellence in all sports programs at the conference, regional and national level.

-providing student-athletes with the opportunity to learn and develop values which foster self-discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership skills, and fair play in an equitable and diverse environment.

Vision- The SUNYAC strives to:

  -be recognized as the premier NCAA Division III conference as demonstrated by intense regular-season conference competition; highly-competitive conference championships; and the demonstrated success of conference members in regular-season, non-conference competition, as well as regional and national post-season play.

-be nationally recognized for its emphasis on the achievement of student-athlete academic and athletic excellence, sportsmanship and community service.

-foster the development of student-athletes, coaches, staff and athletic administrators through leadership opportunities and professional development.
