PITTSFORD, N.Y.— Nationally-ranked No. 19 St. John Fisher outscored the visiting Bengals 38-22 in the second half, including a 17-8 run in the third quarter, en route to a 79-57 victory in non-conference action this evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Liv LeBaron (Corning/Corning East) scored over 20 points for the third time this season, finishing with 23 points to go along with nine rebounds to lead the Bengals.
- Katie Villarini (Hamburg/Hamburg) added 10 points, five rebounds and a pair of blocks.
- Lexi Emmi (Liverpool/Liverpool) chipped in six points, while Jenna Lee (Wallkill/Wallkill) added five points and four rebounds.
- St. John Fisher stormed out the gates by scoring 18 of the first 23 points and held on to claim a 30-18 lead after the first 10 minutes of action.
- Buffalo State responded in the second stanza with a 17-5 run, capped off by a layup from LeBaron, to even the score at 35-35 with just under two minutes left in the first half.
- The Cardinals scored the final six points of the frame to take a 41-35 lead at halftime.
- St. John Fisher used a 17-8 run in the third quarter and a 11-4 run in the fourth frame to complete the win.
- The Cardinals held advantages in both second-chance points (23-10) and bench production (26-9).
