OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's soccer team scored two second-half goals to lift them over SUNYAC foe Buffalo State, 2-1, on Friday. With the victory, the Lakers improve to 5-4-1 on the season and 1-3-0 in conference play while the Bengals fall to 3-8-1 overall and remain winless with a record of 0-4-0 against SUNYAC opponents.

th minute. Freshman
Lynsey Roth passed the ball to the middle to set up
Audrey Burbidge, who shot it into the top right corner of the net for her second goal of the season. Burbidge contributed five shots to the Lakers' offense, tied with teammate
Emma Geyer for a game-high.
Just over two minutes after Burbidge's goal, the Lakers were at it again. This time, when the ball deflected in front of
Alexa Restante, the senior rocketed the ball past the goalie into the bottom left corner of the net to give Oswego a 2-1 lead.
The Lakers were dominant on offense. Oswego notched 24 shots, with 12 on-goal, compared to the Bengals' five shots. The Lakers also had 10 corner kicks, with eight of those coming in the second half, while the Bengals only had one during the entire game.
Oswego will be back in action on Saturday when it hosts SUNYAC rival Fredonia at 1 p.m. at Laker Soccer Field for Senior Day.
