ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's tennis team concluded its regular season with a 5-4 nonconference loss at St. John Fisher College on Thursday evening. Oswego will now partake in the SUNYAC Championships over the weekend in Binghamton, N.Y.
Jill Travis had an outstanding night, battling to a tight 6-4, 7-5 victory at second singles before pairing with
Alli Ullrich for an 8-4 triumph at first doubles.
Haru Kobayashi was the other Laker to capture a singles win, downing Amanda Pendergast 7-5, 6-3 in the fifth slot.
The combination of
Erin Vargo and
Jill Burns collected the fourth and final point for Oswego on the doubles circuit.
