ERIE, Pa. – The Penn State Behrend men's basketball team scored a 66-62 victory over Fredonia Tuesday night in the Junker Center.

Key Moments:

* The Lions started the game on a 17-6 run to force Fredonia to call a timeout with 11:43 left in the first half
* Behrend would continue to apply pressure, forcing the Blue Devils to call another timeout with 6:11 on the clock and the Lions taking a 28-13 advantage
* Fredonia went on a mini run of its own to cut the deficit and only trail 33-26 going into halftime
* The Blue Devils were able to take a five-point lead with 10:49 left in the final period
* A made layup and three-pointer by Tommy DiRienzo (Pittsburgh, PA/Bethel Park) would knot the score at 47 apiece
* The Lions would take the lead once again and not look back, making their free throws down the stretch to secure the victory
