CORTLAND, N.Y.—Cortland jumped out to an early 7-1 lead and continued to pull away from visiting Buffalo State for an 18-6 victory in today's SUNYAC regular-season finale.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Christina Krowel (Amsterdam/B.H.-B.L.) led Buffalo State with two goals and an assist.
- Kendall Skuse (Churchville/Churchville-Chili) and Morgan Hogue (Painted Post/Corning) had a goal and an assist each, and Nina Schaefer (Lafayette/Lafayette) and Ally Ruggieri (Brockport/Brockport) also scored.
- Elyse Stark (Lido Beach/Long Beach) finished with 16 saves to help keep Buffalo State in the contest.
- Buffalo State converted on three of its five first-half shots, but trailed 9-3 at the intermission.
- The Red Dragons scored the first four goals of the second half to pull away and did not look back.
- Cortland outshot the Bengals 46-11 for the game and held a 29-12 advantage in ground balls.

- Megan Gonzalez paced Cortland with four goals and three assists.
