POTSDAM, N.Y.- The SUNY Potsdam volleyball team (11-16) fell to Clarkson University (16-7) 3-0 Tuesday night. Prior to the contest, the Bears honored seniors

Rachel Topf (Eagle River, Alaska/Chugiak),
Kelsey Tompkins (Vestal, N.Y./Vestal) and
Megan Smith (Ridgecrest, Calif./Burroughs).
The Golden Knights swept Potsdam 25-21, 25-12 and 25-18. Freshman middle hitter
Monica Mack (Webster, N.Y./Webster Thomas) led the Bears with 11 kills and Healis tacked on nine kills with five digs, one ace and a block. Junior defensive specialist
Maddie Kaplan (Plattsburgh, N.Y./Peru) had 10 digs for the defense while Topf made eight. Junior setter
Brianna Rodda (Holbrook, N.Y./Sachem East) finished with 27 assists and Tompkins made two blocks.
Clarkson's Gillian Kurtic had 10 kills with Rachael Aird finishing with nine. Kendall Cheval added seven kills, eight digs and one block. Kate Isaksen had a strong showing with 18 digs and four aces. Jillian Saenz tallied 22 assists, while Amanda Collins had 11.
The Bears will finish up their season this weekend when Potsdam competes in the Skidmore Invitational. The Bears will take on Skidmore Friday at 5 p.m. then turn around Saturday to battle UMass Boston at 10 a.m. and Sage at 12 p.m.
