Haru Kobayashi won in both singles and doubles to propel the Lakers to victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Oswego took two of the three doubles matches to kick things off. Bridget Bender and Spence won 8-6 at second doubles and Kobayashi and Erin Vargo won 8-4 at third doubles.
- In singles action, Kobayashi won 6-1, 6-3 at third singles and Spence won 6-3, 6-4 at fifth singles.
- Junior Eliza Johnson defeated Cortland's Rachel Sullivan 6-4, 6-4 at fourth singles to give Oswego the deciding point.
- The two wins in conference are the most since the 2007-2008 season.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Lakers return to the court on Sunday at 12 p.m. when they host the Pioneers of Utica College in non-conference action.
