Robert Williamson (Fishkill/John Jay) scored the game-winning goal and added an assist as Buffalo State rallied past host Medaille for a 2-1 victory today in a non-conference battle.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Medaille emerged from an evenly contested first half with a 1-0 advantage on a 17th-minute goal.
- Buffalo State started to tilt the field in the second half and pulled even when Luke Pavone (Rochester/Churchville-Chili) gathered a cross from Williamson and buried it in the back of the net in the 64th minute.
- Williamson gave the Bengals the lead just over four minutes later when he headed a deep cross from Danny Clavin (Holtsville/Sachem East).
- The Bengals locked up the win from there, finishing with a 16-12 advantage in shots for the game.
- Andreas Queen (Stone Ridge/Rondout Valley) tallied four saves for the victory in goal.

- Buffalo State's 5-1 start to the season is its best since going 5-0-1 to open the year in 2011.
