Alisha Szumigala (Forestville, N.Y. / Forestville) had her first career double-double in a Blue Devil uniform to lead the Devils to a 67-60 victory at Potsdam. Szumigala had 19 points and 16 boards, both career bests. She was 7 of 11 from the floor and 5 of 5 from the line.
Jenna Einink (Westfield, N.Y. / Chautauqua Lake) added 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 points.
Justice Nauden (Abion, N.Y. / Albion) had 16 points off the bench, including 4 three pointers.
Fredonia was 18 of 24 from the line, while Potsdam struggled going 8 of 17 at the charity stripe. Potsdam fired up 30 three-pointers, connecting 10 times. Fredonia was 5 of 15, both team shooting 33 percent.
