BROCKPORT, N.Y. - The College at Brockport men's and women's swimming and diving teams competed against Monroe Community College on Friday evening, where the men won 175-102, and the women won 133-71. Both the men and the women improve to 1-1 on the season.

On the men's side,
Logan Gregory,
Brandon Amthor,
Thomas Knack and
Chase Carson took first in the 400-yard medley relay with a time of 3:47.43, While the Brockport four-some of
Kevin Kantar,
Rainer Grimme,
Adam Baumann and
William Tolpa took third with a time of 4:02.32

Tyler Hyde took second in the 1000-yard Freestyle with a time of 11:25.50.
Â
Amthor took first in the 200-yard freestyle tabbing a time of 1:48.94 and the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 22.31.

Dambra took first in the 100-yard backstroke while
Kevin Kantar finished in second, giving Brockport the one-two punch. Dambra also took second in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 51.18.

Dambra and Hyde finished two-three in the 500-yard freestyle, coming in with times at 5:25.43 and 5:45.61

Knack and Carson took two and three in the 100-yard breastroke with times of 1:03.72 and 1:05.24. Knack and Carson also finished first and third in the 200-yard breastroke, with Knack claiming a time of 2:19.32 and Carson with a time of 2:26.92. The duo also finished one-two in the 200-yard IM.

Gregory took first in the 200-yard butterfly, the 200-yard backstroke and the 100-yard butterfly.

In the 400-yard freestyle relay Brockport's foursome of Amthor, Dambra, Grimme and Tolpa finished in first with a time of 3:27.65, While the Golden Eagles foursome of Kime, Baumann, Kantar and Hyde finished in third with a time of 3:45.02.

On the boards Matt Merchant took home first in the one-meter dive and second in the three-meter dive, with scores of 274.90 and 234.30, while
Mark Eaton took second in the one meter dive with a score 237.90 and first in the three meter tallying a score of 236.5.

The women's team finished the afternoon with some top scorers in all categories. In the 400-yard medley relay,
Dee Logory,
Rebekah Wilkinson,
Alexa Callaghan and
Cassandra Jannsen took first, while Brockport's other foursome of
Meghan Bates,
Allison Morrow,
Kaitlin Dunning and
Haley Brucato took second.

Bates took second in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 12:36.96 and second in the 100-yard butterfly at 1:09.35.

Callaghan took first in the 200-yard freestyle coming in at 2:17.32 and second in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 59.53

Jannsen snagged second in the 100-yard backstroke and third in the 200-yard IM.

In the 100-yard breaststroke Morrow took home first place, finishing with a time of 1:17.90. Morrow also grabbed a first-place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:50.29.

Brucato and Wilkinson finished one-two in the 200-yard butterfly, while Dunning took home first in the 50-yard freestyle and first in the 100-yard freestyle. Wilkinson also took home a first-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:05.23.

Logory snagged the top spot in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:23.15.

Brockport's 400-yard freestyle relay teams finished in second and third.

On the boards
Loren Sayers took first in the three-meter dive with a score of 225.85, while teammate
Brooke Leddon took second, with a score of 207.45.

Sayers and Leddon finished one-two in the one-meter dive as well, with scores of 237.35 and 225.30
