Sheldon Adams (Rochester/Bishop Kearney) scored a career-high 22 points and dished out four assists to lead the Bengals to a come-from-behind victory over Potsdam in tonight's SUNYAC opener.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Adams shot 8 for 12 from the field and converted four 3-pointers to lead the balanced Bengals offense.
- Mike Henry (Syracuse/West Genesee) chipped in 16 points, nine rebounds, and shot 6 of 8 from the floor
- Malik Turner (New York/NIA Prep) and Zak Ciezki (Cheektowaga/Cheektowaga) each recorded career-highs with 11 points respectively.
- Sir.Quintin Campbell (Tonawanda/Kenmore East) added nine points and eight rebounds.
- Potsdam opened the game on an 11-4 run and maintained the lead until a 3-pointer from J.C. Christopher (Bronx/Mott Haven Campus) closed the deficit to three midway through the first half.
- Buffalo State closed the half on a 17-6 run and recaptured the lead off a layup from Malik Turner (New York/NIA Prep) to give the Bengals a 40-39 lead at halftime.
- The Bengals opened the second half with a 13-8 run to extend the lead to 62-52 with 12 minutes left in the game.
- A pair of free throws from Henry gave Buffalo State its biggest lead of the day, 62-50, midway through the second half.
- Buffalo State scored the final five points to close out the win.
- The Bears held a 30-11 advantage in bench points, but were outrebounded 42-40 by the Bengals.
FOR THE FOES
- Errol James led the Bears with 14 points and five rebounds.
- Dante Langley chipped in 12 points and Danny Delsol-Lowry added 10 points and seven rebounds.
