OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's soccer team fell 2-1 to Buffalo State despite a second-half offensive push. With the loss, the Lakers move to 6-5-1 on the season and 1-4-0 in conference play, while the Bengals improve to 9-1-2 overall and 2-0-2 in SUNYAC play.

Oswego's lone goal came in the 81^st minute. Jason Siracuse's bouncing pass was put in the net by senior Connor Lunduski, for Siracuse's fifth assist of the season and Lunduski's fifth goal. The senior midfielder notched a team-high five shots during the game, with two shots on-goal.

After the first half, the Lakers stepped up offensively. Oswego had eight second-half shots, compared to the Bengals' four. The Lakers also notched four corner kicks in the second half, while the Bengals did not have a single one.

Oswego will return to action at 1 p.m. on Saturday to face SUNYAC foe Fredonia. It is the Lakers' final game before they return home for Homecoming Weekend on Oct. 13-14.
