ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Oswego State volleyball team dropped a nonconference matchup at St. John Fisher College on Tuesday night. Oswego is now 10-13 on the year while the Cardinals improve to 20-6.
Shauna O'Flaherty led the Lakers with eight kills, hitting at a .333 clip. She also added 10 digs which was second for the Lakers, trailing only
Rina Qelaj's 16.
Lauren Fie paced the Lakers on defense with three blocks, all coming on assists.
Isabella Winklestine joined the effort with two, one by herself and another in helping a teammate. Also finishing with a single and an assist was O'Flaherty while
Laura Finn added two assists.
Alison Berger took the majority of the setting duty, doling out 17 assists on the night.
Julia Flohr chipped in eight on the night while O'Flaherty and
Melissa Lussier each had two.
The Lakers will head to their final SUNYAC Pool Play over the weekend as Oneonta plays host. Oswego opens with Plattsburgh at 5 p.m. on Friday in matches that have critical postseason implications.
