BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The College at Brockport volleyball team picked up their third straight SUNYAC win Friday night against Fredonia, in a dominating 3-0 performance.
 
The Blue Devils have taken the Golden Eagles to five sets twice in the last three years, but this time around there was no stopping the Green and Gold's powerhouse offense. With Friday's win, the Golden Eagles improve their record to 7-9 overall and 3-1 in conference play.
 
The Golden Eagles managed to record exactly 10 kills in each matchup, finishing the night with a .178 hitting percentage. Jordan Thompson, Meaghan Mastro and Andrea Coyle provided the offensive backbone that the Green and Gold needed to stay consistent, each notching above a .200 hitting percentage.
 
Coyle recorded a solid day serving, posting five service aces and seven kills through three. Thompson wasn't far behind her, recording nine kills in 16 totals attempts and two digs for nine total points and a strong .438 hitting percentage. Mastro closed things out at the top of the offensive list with four kills and no errors, while collecting an assist, two service aces ,three blocks and eight digs. Abbey Manning and Kerri McHale were invaluable on the assist once again, accounting for 26 of 30 total, with McHale recording two kills of her own as well.
 
The Golden Eagles are back in action tomorrow for another conference matchup and their last home match until the 16th. The team welcomes Buffalo State to the Jim and John Vlogianitis Gymnasium for a 1 p.m. start.
