BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Plattsburgh State women's tennis team defeated The College at Brockport 9-0 on Friday at the Binghamton Tennis Center.
The Cardinals improve to 10-3 overall and 3-2 in the SUNYAC while Brockport moves to 2-9 and 0-5 in the conference.

Sierra Barrett (Beekmantown, N.Y./Beekmantown) /
Rukshanna Abdeen won 8-2.
Sophomore
Sarah Sampson (Albany, N.Y. / Albany) and freshman
Sarah Hoeffner(Montgomery, N.Y. / Valley Central) won doubles three 8-6.
Abdeen won singles one and Henn took singles two both 6-0, 6-0.
Sampson won singles three. She lost her first set 1-6 then came back to win 6-4 and 10-3.
Barrett took singles four 6-2, 6-2.
Sophomore
Tina Mitsoglou (Plattsburgh, N.Y./Plattsburgh) won singles five. She won the first set 6-0, lost the next 3-6 then came back to take the third set 12-10.
Hoeffner took singles six 6-0, 6-4.
The Cardinals are away Saturday, Oct. 6, to play SUNYAC opponent Geneseo at 10 a.m.
