BROCKPORT, N.Y. – The Red Dragons fell 10-8 to SUNY Brockport and snapped a 56-game regular season conference winning streak. Graduate student Devin Phelps (Chittenango) led Cortland with two goals and one assist. With his three points, Phelps became just the 11th player in program history to record 200 career points and now has 98 goals and 102 assists. 

Senior Thomas McNaney (Marcellus) recorded two goals and one assist. Senior Nate Beresovoy (LaFayette), junior Terrence Haggerty (Centerport/Harborfields), senior Liam Erickson (Brewster), and junior Mike McNaney (Marcellus) each scored one goal. Freshman Rob Free (Port Jefferson Station/Comsewogue) and Mike McNaney each scooped up three ground balls. Senior goalie Joe Scalise (Fairport) turned aside 18 shots. 

Cortland trailed 9-6 at the beginning of the fourth period. Thomas McNaney scored a goal at 11:57 that was assisted by junior Dean Riley (Homer) to make the score 9-7. After another goal by Brockport, Erickson would answer with an unassisted goal of his own at 5:29, but the Red Dragons were defeated with a final score of 10-8. 

Liam O'Connor, Patrick Sheridan, and Nick Diagle each scored two goals and one assist for Brockport, while goalie Dallas Meyers tallied 18 saves.
