.— Cortland converted 26 hits into 23 runs in a pair of victories over host Buffalo State today, claiming the first game 12-0 in five innings and taking the late contest 11-1 in six innings.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Buffalo State mustered just two hits and four base runners in the abbreviated loss in the opening game.
- Cortland plated one run each in the first and second innings, before scoring two each in the next two innings and then exploded for six more runs in the fifth.
- Marissa Hayes (N. Tonawanda/Niagara-Wheatfield) was in the circle for Buffalo State, allowing 16 hits and 11 earned runs.
FOR THE FOES
- Hannah Feldman was 4 for 4 with a home run, a double and four RBIs to lead the Red Dragons.

- Nicole Adams (Lockport/Starpoint) took the loss, allowing 10 hits in the complete game effort.
- Cortland let 4-0 after three innings before adding two more runs in the fifth and five in the sixth.
FOR THE FOES
- Feldman was 1 for 2 with another home run and three RBIs.
- Skyler Hoyt was 3 for 3 with a homer and two RBIs.
