POTSDAM, N.Y. -- The Fredonia men's basketball team came up on the short end of an 88-52 contest at Potsdam on Saturday. Dante WIlliams, Isaiah Ice, and Ian Helps each scored 8 points.

Ice added 4 assists and Kay Jackson had 7 points and a team-high 6 rebounds.

Potsdam improves to 4-2 and 1-1 in the SUNYAC. They shot 50 percent from the floor, compared to 30 percent for Fredonia. The Bears won the rebounding battle 42-33.

The Devils (1-6 / 0-2 SUNYAC) travel to Alfred State for a women's/men's non-conference doubleheader on Tuesday. Tip off for the first game will be 7:30 p.m.
