Women’s Volleyball splits to close SUNYAC Pool Play

BUFFALO, N.Y.— Buffalo State dropped its opening match against Brockport in three sets, but bounced back with a five-set marathon win over Potsdam to finish off the second day of SUNYAC Pool Play on Saturday afternoon.

  • The Golden Eagles swept the Bengals in the day's opening match, winning 25-18, 25-13, 25-15.
  • Lauren Hansen (Blue Point/Bayport Blue Point) led the Bengals with nine kills and six digs in the match.
  • Eimile O'Brien (Marietta/Marcellus) and Allie Harford (Sliver Creek/Silver Creek) added eight kills and two kills respectively.
