GENESEO, N.Y. – The Oswego State field hockey team fell to Geneseo, 7-0, on Saturday. With the loss, the Lakers move to an even 5-5 this season and 2-2 in conference action, while Geneseo improves to 8-5 on the year and 4-2 in SUNYAC play.
Goalie
Sarita Charap made 11 saves during the game, her third-highest total of the season. The senior has started all 10 games for the Lakers so far this year.
Lacey Woite notched two shots during the game. The junior is second on the team in both goals and assists this season.
Oswego will be back in action at 4 p.m. on Tuesday when it travels to Oneonta, N.Y. for non-conference action against the Hartwick Hawks.
