HOW IT HAPPENED
  • Buffalo State possessed the ball for much of the first half and held a 6-2 advantage in shot attempts in the opening 45 minutes.
  • Oneonta began to tilt the field in its favor in the early going of the second half, but the Bengals generated the best scoring chance of the game in the 61st minute when Sofiane Hamadi (Marseille, France) intercepted a ball that was misplayed by a Red Dragon defender.  His first attempt was turned aside by the keeper and his second-chance bid bounded wide.

  • Both teams tightened up even further in the overtime periods, granting three total shot attempts, including two by Buffalo State.

  • Andreas Queen (Stone Ridge/Rondout Valley) needed only two saves for his ninth shutout of the season.

FOR THE FOES
