BUFFALO, N.Y.—
Luke Pavone (Rochester/Churchville-Chili) recorded his fifth and sixth goals of the season as Buffalo State posted a 2-1 victory over Grove City tonight in a non-conference contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Buffalo State opened up the scoring early in the first half, when Pavone took advantage of a loose ball just inside the box and drove home the one-timer.
- The Bengals controlled much of the possession in the first half.
- In the 34th minute, Pavone controlled a rebound off the Brandon Galanti (Hamburg/Frontier) breakaway shot that bounced off the crossbar, and converted his second goal of the match.
- Grove City cut the lead in half, scoring in the 49th minute. The Wolverines created opportunities late in the game, but were unable to even the score.
- Andreas Queen (Stone Ridge/Rondout Valley) made three saves in the victory.

- Malcolm Blake recorded four saves for the Wolverines.
