PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's basketball team defeated the Plattsburgh Cardinals by a score of 63-44 tonight. A surge in the second half by
Julien Crittendon and
Jordan Brown helped uplift the Lakers past the Cardinals for their sixth SUNYAC victory on the year.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the first half, the Lakers went on a 5-0 run against the Cardinals, giving them a 7-2 lead early in the first half.
- Plattsburgh took the lead, 13-12, going on an 8-1 run from 11:27-8:12 of the first half.
- The Lakers and Cardinals exchanged blows throughout the rest of the first half with Oswego taking the advantage into the locker room at half, 27-25.
- Brandan Gartland and Joe Sullivan led the Lakes in the first half with a combined 17 points and nine rebounds.
- Things stayed close in the second half with the Lakers holding a 41-37 lead and 11 minutes left in the contest.
- The defense clamped down to allow Oswego to make a 22-7 run to close out the game and led by Crittendon's nine points in that stretch.
- Gartland (14), Crittendon (11), Sullivan (10) and Brown (10) all reached double figures in points, while Brown added 12 boards to his stat line.
- Liam Sanborn played a complete game with five points, along with leading the team in rebounds (13), assists (4), and steals (4).
