OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State women's tennis team closed out its fall regular-season schedule with a shutout of Utica College on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Bridget Bender (1st),
Haru Kobayashi (3rd) and
Samantha Spence (5th) each blanked their opponents in singles action.
At second singles,
Lorrayne Broach won a tight first set by a break before cruising to a four-game victory in the decisive set.
Eliza Johnson played in the No. 4 slot, surrendering just four games to her opponent.
Alesha Pilon scored a sixth singles triumph, allowing just three games to her counterpart.
Bender and Spence joined forces to take first doubles 8-4.
The second (Broach and
Erin Vargo) and third doubles (Kobayashi and Pilon) duos each won by 8-1 tallies.
WHAT'S NEXT
Oswego will return in the spring for its non-traditional season for matches that have yet to be determined.
