BINGHAMTON, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State women's tennis team won one doubles and two singles matches over Fredonia on Sunday at the Binghamton Tennis Center but lost 6-3 in the end.
Sophomore
Rukshanna Abdeen won singles one 6-4, 6-4 while sophomore
Nadine Ciardulli (Massapequa, N.Y. / Plainedge) won singles six 6-4, 6-3.
The Cardinal duo of sophomore
Sarah Sampson (Albany, N.Y. / Albany) and freshman
Sarah Hoeffner(Montgomery, N.Y. / Valley Central) took doubles three 8-4.
Plattsburgh State ended their season 10-5 overall and 3-4 in the SUNYAC while Fredonia will move on to the semifinal round of playoffs with a 12-3 overall record and 4-3 in the conference.
