NOTEWORTHY
  • Today's game was Buffalo State's annual "Molly's Game" in honor of former Bengal Molly Elizabeth Seifritz who passed away March 2nd, 2013, from a progressive tissue cancer called Ewing's Sarcoma.  Throughout her two-year battle, she never stopped smiling, while turning her thoughts to others more unfortunate than her. She began to develop a vision to create a network of lacrosse teams all over the country that worked together to benefit rare cancer research.  In an effort to realize her dream, Molly's past teammates, coaches and friends have been working together to establish "Molly Games" to help raise money and awareness for rare cancer research.
