OSWEGO, N.Y.—Oswego mounted an 11-1 run over a span of 34 minutes and 59 seconds to pull away from visiting Buffalo State for a 17-7 victory today in a SUNYAC contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Nina Schaefer (Lafayette/Lafayette) tallied four goals and an assist to lead Buffalo State, while Kendall Skuse (Churchville/Churchville-Chili), Morgan Hogue (Painted Post/Corning) and Jackie Dufresne (Lake View/Frontier) added a goal apiece.
- Buffalo State erased an early 3-1 deficit to even the score at 3-3 midway through the first half, but Oswego scored 11 of the next 12 goals and pulled away for the 10-goal victory.
- The Lakers outshot the Bengals 38-18, including 24-14 on goal. Oswego also had a 17-9 advantage in draw controls.
- Elyse Stark (Lido Beach/Long Beach) finished with seven saves in the loss.
FOR THE FOES
- Brigid Regin led Oswego with six points on three goals and three assists.
- Riley Jaquin netted five goals, and Kamryn Sherman had three goals and an assist.
NOTEWORTHY
- Buffalo State is locked into the sixth and final playoff position in the SUNYAC playoffs with one game remaining. The Bengals will travel to either Brockport or Geneseo for a quarterfinal game on Tuesday, May 1 at 4 p.m.
