The first half started with the teams trading blows in a tight game, with the score tied up at 14-14 approaching the midpoint. Brockport held just a 3-point edge with under four minutes left until halftime, and then the team flipped a switch. The Golden Eagles kept Oswego from scoring for the final four minutes of the half, closing the period on a 12-0 run to enter the locker room up 15 points.

Danny Ashley led all scorers at the half with 10 points on 5-for-8 shooting. Brockport was up 38-23 going into the second half.

Brockport did not take its foot off the gas in the second, stretching the lead to 20 just four minutes in. The Golden Eagles kept the lead for the entire 20 minutes of the second half, cruising to their 16th straight win and maintaining a perfect record on their home court. The team won by 15 points, is now 23-3 overall with a 12-0 home mark, and will play Saturday for the SUNYAC Championship.
