Oneonta, NY. The SUNY Oneonta Volleyball team went 1-2 this past weekend at the Hartwick Invitational. The Red Dragons beat Nazareth College and drop games to both King's College and Baldwin Wallace to move to 5-7 on the season.
In the Red Dragons sole win on the weekend the beat Nazareth in five sets after falling behind 2-0. The Red Dragons started their comeback in the match in the third set, winning 25-21. They then took the next set 26-24 and went on to take the last set and the match 15-12. In the match senior
Melissa Voyer (Baldwinsville/C.W. Baker) had 15 kills, sophomore
Lindsay Pelaccio (Verplanck/Hendrick Hudson) had 18 digs and sophomore
Jessica Fowler (Burnt Hills/Burnt Hills) had 52 assists.
Against Baldwin Wallace, senior
Justine Abbate (Massapequa/Massapequa) had a team high 11 kills and against Kings freshman
Meghan Keyes (Burnt Hills/Burnt Hills) had a team high eight kills.
The Red Dragons are back in action against Morrisville State on Tuesday, September 19
th in the Dewar Arena at 6PM.
