- Oneonta swept the Bengals in the day's opening match, winning 25-22, 25-14 and 25-23. The Red Dragons had nine service aces and posted .171 attack percentage, compared to .068 by the Bengals.
- Lauren Hansen (Blue Point/Bayport Blue Point) had a team-high nine kills to go with 11 digs for Buffalo State.
- Allie Harford (Silver Creek/Silver Creek) tallied six kills and three blocks in the middle.
- Alyssa Durski (Eden/Eden) had 11 assists and 11 digs, and Brittney Valentine (Marietta/Marcellus) recorded 18 digs.
FOR THE FOES
- Victoria Moulder led a balanced offense for Oneonta with eight kills, while Jessica Fowler had 30 assists.
- Lindsay Pelaccio had 12 digs and three aces.

- The Lakers raced through the first two sets, winning 25-15 and 25-18, and then closed out the match with a 25-21 win in the third set.
- Buffalo State was inefficient at the net again as it posted a .015 attack percentage, compared to .182 by the Lakers.
- Oswego also held an 8-2 advantage in blocks.
- Hansen had eight kills, three aces and 11 digs.
- Durski finished with 19 assists.
