CORTLAND, N.Y.—The SUNY Potsdam swimming and diving teams closed out the 2019 portion of their schedule at the two-day SUNY Cortland Snowflurries Invitational this weekend. The Bears women finished sixth and the men were seventh. The host Red Dragons captured each team title.

Ryan Hagadorn (Syracuse, N.Y./West Genesee) paced Potsdam's men. He was second in the 100 Breaststroke (1:01.27), third in the 200 Breaststroke (2:18.47) and eighth in the 200 Individual Medley (2:08.27). He also teamed with sophomore
Nate Young (Johnson City, N.Y./Johnson City), freshman
Daniel Russotti (Webster, N.Y./Webster Thomas) and junior Zack Martin (Plattsburgh, N.Y./Plattsburgh) for an eighth place finish in the 200 Medley Relay (1:44.13). Russotti was fifth in the 100 Breaststroke (1:03.17) and joined Young, Martin and junior captain
William Stephens III (Medina, N.Y./Medina) for a ninth place finish in the 400 Medley Relay (3:54.99). Martin also finished eighth in the 100 FLY (57.64) and sophomore
Brett Worden (Croghan, N.Y./Beaver River) posted a Top-10 result with a ninth place finish in the 400 Individual Medley (4.48.48).

Samantha Coombs (Jamesville, N.Y./Jamesville-DeWitt) led the women with a second place finish in the 100 Freestyle (54.89) and a fourth place finish in the 50 Freestyle (25.75). Coombs helped the 400 Medley Relay Team of freshman Sophia Frenyea (Johnstown, N.Y./Johnstown), senior captain

Cassandra Hunter (Castleton, N.Y./Maple Hill) and herself to a seventh place finish with a time of 4:30.18. Medley was fourth in the 100 Breaststroke (1:13.22), Hunter was ninth in the 100 FLY (1:05.86) and freshman
Zoe Gliganic (Stony Brook, N.Y./Ward Melville) placed 10th in the 1-meter diving with a score of 160.40.
