BUFFALO, N.Y. – The Buffalo St. men's soccer team scored early in the second half and the goal held up as the Bengals halted nationally sixth-ranked Cortland's eight-game winning streak with a 1-0 conference win Saturday afternoon.
Senior goalie
Connor Young (Bayport/Bayport-Blue Point) made six saves for the Red Dragons (11-2, 5-1 SUNYAC). Goalie Andreas Queen stopped three shots in posting the shutout for Buffalo St. (10-1-2, 3-0-2). Sofiane Hamadi scored the game winner off an assist from Luke Pavone.

Cortland managed just four shots after the goal with the last attempt coming in the 67th minute.
