August Finn (High Falls/Rondout Valley) scored late to help Buffalo State earn a point with a 1-1 draw at Brockport in an important early-season SUNYAC matchup today at A. Huntley Parker Jr. Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a scoreless first half, Brockport opened the scoring in a 68th minute, snapping the Bengals' consecutive shutout streak at 320 minutes and 58 seconds.
- Buffalo State responded to the deficit by mounting a late surge, and Finn evened the score with his second goal of the season with just over 10 minutes remaining in regulation with an assist from Luke Pavone (Rochester/Churchville-Chili).
- Buffalo State finished with a 16-11 advantage in shots, including a 3-1 edge in the two overtime periods, but could not net the tie breaker.
- Andreas Queen (Stone Ridge/Rondout Valley) matched his season-high with five saves in the victory.

- Chris Aherne scored for Brockport with an assist by Connor DeSantis.
- Joseph Romano made six saves for the Golden Eagles.
