OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's swimming and diving team claimed its third victory of the season with a win over Clarkson on Saturday, while the women dropped a close three point meet. The men were dominative in their individual events, only dropping three.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Alex Davie earned the most individual wins for the Lakers, claiming victories in the 200-yard freestyle (1:50.52), 50-yard freestyle (22.00) and the 100-yard freestyle (49.04).
- Davie also helped the men to win the 400-yard freestyle relay, posting a time of 3:17.30, aided by Nick Weber, Ryan Kreuser and Walker Snowden.
- Weber earned a commanding win in the 1000-yard freestyle, posting a time of 10:21.78 and finishing nearly 20 seconds ahead of second place. He also won the 500-yard freestyle (5:04.22).
- Also earning two victories was Luis Perez, who won the 100-yard backstroke (55.53) and the 200-yard backstroke (2:01.86).
- On the 3-meter diving board, Cameron Ellis clinched a win, with a score of 259.10.
- The women were strong on the board, claiming the top three spots in both the 1-meter and 3-meter event.
- Miranda Frascatore won both events, posting scores of 233 and 223.80 respectively.
- Meghan Maquet clinched both second places with scores of 210.55 and 215.1.
- Emily Ross (1000-yard freestyle, 11:45.37), Kayla Merrill (100-yard backstroke, 1:05.29) Grace Parente (200-yard butterfly, 2:21.05) and Riley Synan (100-yard butterfly, 1:02.61) earned individual wins.

Both Oswego State squads return to Laker Hall and Laker Pool at 1 p.m. on Saturday as they host Alfred State.
