PLATTSBURGH, N.Y.— Brandon Galanti (Hamburg/Frontier) netted his first goal of the season in the 83^rd minute to lift visiting No. 17-ranked Buffalo State to a 1-0 victory over Plattsburgh today in SUNYAC action.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The teams played to a scoreless draw in the first half with Plattsburgh holding a 6-2 edge in shot attempts.
• The second half continued to be tightly contested with limited chances for either side until Galanti intercepted a free kick and buried it with his left foot past a diving Plattsburgh keeper for the game's only offense with less than eight minutes remaining in the game.
• Andreas Queen (Stone Ridge/Rondout Valley) finished with three saves for his school-record tying seventh shutout of the season.
• Buffalo State had a 4-1 edge in shots in the second half, leaving the totals just 7-6 in favor of Plattsburgh.
