BUFFALO, N.Y.—Buffalo State was unable to convert on a number of first-half chances and Union made it pay with a lone marker early in the second half en route to a 1-0 victory in a non-conference game today at Coyer Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Buffalo State held a 10-5 advantage in shots attempts in the first half, including a 6-1 margin on goal, but was unable to break through.
- Union emerged from the intermission the more energized side and produced the game's only offense less than a minute into the second half when a ball ricocheted off a Bengal defender directly onto the foot of a Dutchwoman who sent it to the back of the goal from 15 yards out.
- The Bengals struggled to find space for much of the second half and were unable to convert again on a strong run in the closing minutes.
- Buffalo State finished with a 15-12 edge in shots for the game.
- Taylor Carillo (Pine Bush/Pine Bush) made two saves in goal for the Bengals.

- Linsey Giles scored her third goal of the season for Union.
- Kelsey Hartsoe made six saves in goal to maintain the shutout.
