FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Nazareth dealt Fredonia its first men's soccer loss of 2017 on Tuesday night at University Stadium.
Josh Crespo put a perfect strike into the top of the net early in the 14th minute and Mitchell Fors netted a header in the 22nd minute off a short cross by James Walsh to account for the Nazareth scoring its 2-0 win.
Fredonia sophomore
Ty Bentham (Columbus, Ind.) collected eight saves while
Ryan Ross (Grand Island, N.Y.) and
Parker Healy (East Aurora, N.Y.) each had two shots on goal. Naz goalkeeper Brian Wilkin finished with six saves while notching the shutout.
The Blue Devils fell to 4-1-0 heading into a Saturday date at Geneva (Pa.) while the Golden Flyers improved to 3-2-0.
