OSWEGO, N.Y. – The Oswego State men's soccer team fell to Fredonia, 1-0, on Saturday. With the loss, the Lakers move to 6-6-1 on the season with a 1-5-0 SUNYAC record, while the Blue Devils improve to 7-5-1 overall and 1-3-1 in conference play.
Oswego outshot Fredonia 25 to 16 during the game, with 13 of those shots on-goal compared to just three from the Blue Devils. Senior
Connor Lunduski led the Lakers with six shots, five of which were on-goal. Oswego's team-leading goal scorer,
Hassan Musa, contributed four shots of his own. The Lakers also had eight corner kicks compared to the Blue Devils' seven.
Goalie
Brian Terra played all 90 minutes for the Lakers, only allowing one goal. The freshman made two saves against the Blue Devils, increasing his total to 34 so far this season.
Oswego will be back in action on Oct. 13, when it hosts Brockport for the first game of Homecoming Weekend.
