Alexandra Bone (Williamsville/Williamsville East) tallied her first collegiate goal and Buffalo State led early, but it could not hold, suffering a 2-1 defeat today at Oswego in a SUNYAC contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Bone opened the scoring just over 12 minutes into the contest on a volley off a cross from fellow freshman Sophia Osmond (W. Seneca/W. Seneca West).
- The Bengals carried the 1-0 lead into the intermission, despite being outshot 10-3.
- Oswego continued to be the aggressors in the second half and evened the score in the 66th minute and then pulled ahead just over two minutes later.
- The Lakers finished with a 24-5 advantage in shots for the game, including 14-2 in the second half. They also held a 10-1 advantage in corner kicks.
- Taylor Carillo (Pine Bush/Pine Bush) finished with 10 saves to help keep the Bengals within striking distance.

- Audrey Burbidge and Alexa Restante each scored for Oswego.
