OSWEGO, N.Y. - Despite outscoring UW-Superior 34-29 in the second half, the Oswego State women's basketball team fell to Yellowjackets to open the Max Ziel Women's Basketball Tournament.  Newcomer Sydni Eure paced the Lakers with 15 points.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Lakers found themselves in early deficits, down 11-0 and 28-8 after the first quarter of play.
• Eure scored 10 of her 15 points in the third quarter to turn the momentum in Oswego's favor.
• Seven different Lakers scored in the final quarter to help Oswego finish strong.
• Junior Raiven Encarnacion hit double digits in points with 10 and Ramatoulaye Sy had eight.
• The Yellowjackets used 11 3-pointers in the contest to separate themselves on the scoreboard.
• For the second straight game, Oswego got five blocks with Quincey Zimmerman and Morgan Wolanin each getting a pair.
