Makenzie Keeler (Jamesville, N.Y. / Jamesville Dewitt), who had four hits in the doubleheader.
The Blue Devils (7-17-1 overall, 1-9 SUNYAC) held a 3-0 lead in the opener before they were overtaken. Keeler had three doubles, including one in each of the first two innings. She also had two RBI.
Katie Yudin (Liverpool, N.Y./Liverpool) had a double and a single. She was also tagged with the loss in the circle to drop her mark to 3-9. Claire VanNewkirk had three doubles for Geneseo, including the game-winning hit to break a 3-3 tie in the last of the fifth. Taylor Moore (8-1) was the winning pitcher.
Geneseo's Ashlyn Kersch limited Fredonia to five singles in the nightcap. She pitched around consecutive two-out singles in the first by sophomore
Cassie Herman (Maybrook, N.Y./Valley Central) and senior

The Blue Devils will play their first home games of the season this weekend when they take on Potsdam on Saturday and Plattsburgh on Sunday in a pair of SUNYAC doubleheaders. The Plattsburgh pair was originally scheduled for Friday.
