ENGLEWOOD, Fla. -- Nationally ranked Franklin & Marshall rolled over Fredonia, 18-2, at Springfling 2017 on Wednesday morning.
Ranked No. 6 in the latest Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association poll, the Diplomats dominated play from start fo finish. They led 13-2 at halftime and held the Blue Devils scoreless in the second half.
Fredonia's only goals came on free-position shots in a span of two minutes. Down 10-0,
Katie Miller (Hamburg, N.Y.) scored first with 9:44 left in the first half.
Jen Kershner (Liverpool, N.Y.) made it 10-2 with 7:36 to go.
Miller collected two ground balls and caused one turnover.
The Blue Devils (1-4) return to action Thursday at 5 p.m. against No. 3 Gettysburg before returning north.
