FREDONIA, N.Y. -- Pa Lu (Buffalo, N.Y.) scored three minutes into the first overtime as Fredonia outlasted Alfred, 2-1, in men's college soccer Tuesday at University Stadium.

Lu, a freshman, headed in a cross from junior Noah Gittleman (Commack, N.Y.) with 7:20 remaining in the first overtime. It lifted the Blue Devils to 6-4-1 while the Saxons fell to 3-6-1.

Alfred grabbed a 1-0 lead in early the 11th minute on a goal by Cody Cronmiller, from Alexander Tostanoski.

Fredonia pulled even on a header by Conrad Rathbun (Naples, N.Y.), his second of the season, with Lu assisting in the 43rd minute.

Lu's game-winner was his second goal of the season.

Fredonia goalkeeper Ty Bentham (Columbus, Ind.) made six saves.

The Blue Devils are back in SUNYAC action this weekend with home games Friday against Cortland at 3 p.m. and Saturday against Oswego at 1 p.m.
